THIRD WEEK OF SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2: 19/11/18 to 24/11/18.

The third week of school internship  started from  19/11/18  and ended on 24/11/18.  The 20th of Nov was declared  as a public holiday of Islamic prophet Muhammed.  But this day's class was compensated on Saturday with Tuesday's time table, so we had a total of 5 days class in this week.  The topics that I completed during this week are, salts,  refractive index,  sulfuric  acid,  critical angle and total internal  refraction, optic centre, centre of curvature, principal  axis, principal focus.  Of these,  2 are from chemistry and 3 from physics. Later I had peer  observation  of 5 teacher trainees in this week.  Sonisha Solomon from Maths option, Sranya D from Malayalam option,  Aayisha and Keerthy from English option and Rincy from Social Science  option. The classes ended at 3.30 pm with the National Anthem.

Second week of school internship phase 2:

12/11/18   to   16/11/18

The second week of school internship started on 12/11/18 and ended on 16/11/18.

I had a total of five classes in 9C during the whole week and the topics that I took are refraction, incident ray refracted ray, monobasic  acid, optical density,  neutralisation  reaction. Of these three are from physics and two from Chemistry. The topic  mono basic acids were taught using concept attainment model.Later I had peer observation  of four teacher trainees during the second week, the trainees were Aneena A and Divya G  from physical Science  option, Maheshwaran Vinod and Haseena Habeeb from social science  option.  On November 14th, children's day was Celebrated  in our school, where the assembly was conducted  by we, the teacher  trainees and sweets were distributed after assembly. On  the same day prizes were distributed by the principal to the students  who won in the sports  meet and it was the first assembly conducted  after the internship  program started.

SCHOOL INTERNSHIP:PHASE II

As part of the B-Ed curriculum the second phase of  school internship started on 7th November. The school allotted to me was SN Trust Higher  secondary  school Kollam. There were three of us from physical science option and were asked to meet our concerned teachers for physics and chemistry. It was Miss Rekha for physics and Miss Bindhu for Chemistry. We took the portions and time table alloted to us and I was asked to take physics and chemistry  for 9th standard malayalam medium class.

First week:07.11.18 to 09.11.18

The first day of our week was a holiday since it was Shankers day and it is leave for SN Trust schools. From the very  next day I started taking class as I was familiar with the students of 9C during the last phase. After giving a small introduction about the topic I started my classes and the topics that I took during the first week are acid and alkali. There were no other specialty or assembly conducted during the two days and as usual I reached the school by 9.15 am and classes ended at 3.30 pm on Thursday and at 4.00pm on Friday.
